When I was sixteen, I decided to be a photographer.
Life, of course, can have a different plan for you.
At seventeen I was engaged and by eighteen married.
All plans for college and pursuing photography were put on hold until we could afford it.

 The years passed quickly and by twenty one I was a mother.
I've raised two beautiful children, which are now beautiful adults.

 When my home became an empty nest as the
kids moved out to pursue their own dreams, I decided
that it was time to complete my plan and become a
photographer.

I attended Nassau Community College to gain a better knowledge of art, I am still working on a fine arts degree.
 I've been a professional photographer for the past four years. 
I love every minute of it.  I experience the adrenaline from creativity as I build props and backdrops.

 Traveling, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures are just a few of the benefits of my profession.
I love what I do and plan to continue for a very long time.
